I am a Certified Counselor in the State of Washington with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and I have for than 35 years experience in counseling individuals, couples and families.
I counsel and guide clients in adjusting to life situations, developing new skills and making desired changes in their life when they have a global assessment of functioning score greater than sixty. I use a holistic approach incorporating a variety of counseling techniques including but not limited to Imago relationship counseling, active listening, hypnosis, gestalt, transactional analysis, Adlerian therapy, rational emotive therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy.
I do not diagnose clients, my goal is to teach you the skills and tools to empower yourself towards wellness. Disorders listed in the DSM require a written referral from a licensed medical professional for me to be able to legally work with you.
To me, no matter what the issue may be, it really gets down to creating a healthier relationship with SELF. That is my underlying goal in all therapy. Rarely is it about fixing someone else or something else – it truly is about making the changes within that allow you to create the joy, love and happiness in your life so you can achieve your goals.

I encourage clients to challenge themselves to achieve the liberty in their lives to do what they want to do when they want to do it.
